Main Street Cinema
When Disneyland Park debuted, Walt Disney wanted his guest to feel as if they left the world of today and entered the world of fantasy. To bring that vision to life Walt Disney Invited Various Merchants to set up shops on Main Street USA to bring this vision to life. Walt always feel things should be authentic as possible to make his dream come true. The shops had to be to be made and set-up to the period atmosphere to complete this feeling of realism.
The Main Street Cinema was opened on July 17, 1955, one of 20 original Disneyland Park Attraction that remain in the park today. The Main Street Cinema Was an A-ticket attraction in the original ticket books that Disneyland used but later was upgraded to a B-ticket attraction. Joining The Art of Animation Exhibit and Casey Jr. Circus Train.
This attraction pays tribute to one of Walts Disney’s most famous creations, Mickey mouse. When you visit Main Street Cinema, you can enjoy six early Mickey Mouse Shorts, including Steamboat Willie, which was released Nov 18, 1928.
Steam Boat willie was the first complete-sychornized sound cartoon. After its success, Walt Disney added sound to two Mickey Mouse filmswhich he previously had unable to sell, Plane Crazy (also showing in the Main Street Cinnama) and The Gallopin Gaucho.
Walt Disney always had a special place in his hart for Mickey Mouse
“all we ever intended for him or expected of him was that he should continue to make people every where chuckle with him and at him,” Wald Disney Said. “We Didn’t burden him with any social symbolism; we made him no mouth piece for furustrations or harsh satire. Mickey was simply a little personality assigned to the purpose of laughter.”
IS Disneyland Resort Haunted?
[quote]
Dose Walt Disney still the park beyond the grave? How about long passed cast members do they still come into the park to play still? how about guests that are no longer with use do they still enjoy coming to the park and enjoy the many things the Disneyland Resort has to offer. Or is creepy feelings guest and cast alike feel are energy left by the excitement of the guest and cast members of the Disneyland Resort.
Another story i have heard that Deborah Gail the 18 year old female that tragicly died in the american sing now the inoventions Building in 1974. there are many stories of weird things happening in the inoventions building like stuff being moved with no reason, And thing happening to cast members and maybe guest. There has been so many accounts of thing happening in that building that the truth will probably will never be solved.
Beyond Walt Disney and Cast Members that may still roaming the park today, but how about the guest who really loved the Disneyland Resort? There has been many stories told of orb or shadows appearing on photos and videos that cant be explained or have been seen by the naked eye. There also bee accounts of guest and cast Members seeing full body figures standing next to building, landmarks, and plants. Also there been stores that guest has brought ashes of passed loved one into the park to spread their ashes in their favorite spot or attraction so they can enjoy being at Disneyland after they have left us . Anyone doing this of course get in a lot of trouble and closing of the area until the bio hazard is totally removed from the location. But the Disneyland Resort suppose to be the happiest place on earth why would guest still want to come to the park even after death.
There are so many things that happen during and after hours is there really any reason why that some cast members dread or fear going into certain areas of the park either on stage or off stage. Or is it just the energy we feel left from over excited guest or cast members that been to Disneyland Resort For the first time. Or is it the energy that we give off when we visit the Disneyland Resort that the spirits dwell on and use to show hey we still here even in the after life. One thing i do think that ghost do exist and that there may be a small chance that people that have worked or visited The Disneyland resort Still Come to Visit Us even after death.
The Land Before Critter Country
When the Disneyland opened for business in 1955 the ever loved area critter country was in non existence. Actually this area was once a Indian village. this is where native Indians from around the world would come and meet and show guest there different culture, dances, and tribal colors.
In 1972 the Indian village was removed and a new land was introduced Bear Country and the ever loved attraction made it dayview, The Country Bear Jamboree. In 1988 the Bear Country got renamed to Critter Country and Disneyland introduce a new attraction that will become one of The Disneyland resort Most popular rides. On July 18, 1989 Splash Mountain was opened and the larges log flume to ever to be built in it time plunged into our harts.
Tho it is shoved way back in the corner of the park with it forest like setting and feeling of escape from the real world to a easier time, Critter Country is still a hot spot for guest to follow the trail of brer Rabbit, bear and fox as they find their laughing spot on splash mountain. Guest also can meet everyone favorite bear Winnie the Pooh, Ehore, rabbit and piglet. Critter Country Is a a place to be for a knee slapping good time.
